adept advise throughout the UK in relation to overall acquisition strategy on a “cradle to grave” basis in respect of multiple, co-ordinated acquisitions.  It can be involved from the initial concept through to an eventual sale/mature network.

adept will assist in relation to funding through helping develop and prove a robust and replicable “one shop model” and supporting discussions with industry partners and PE/VC investors.

adept undertakes location targeting to identify the trading positions where the business is most likely to perform well.  We market the requirements and then work closely with operational teams to identify and select suitable sites that will support expansion and these opportunities are carefully and professionally assessed to maximise the trading potential.

adept will work with your wider professional team and the operational team to capture essential requirements and will then develop detailed standard heads of terms to support acquisition negotiations.  Standard lease, agreement for lease and licence for alterations documentation can also be put in place to ensure best practice and competitiveness in the market.

adept will obtain competitive overall lease terms in respect of the rental and incentives but also, critically, in respect of the lease documentation such as repairing liabilities. We are very active in the marketplace so instinctively know what can be achieved to support the expansion by remaining competitive balanced with obtaining overall value.

adept will prescribe and then undertake, together with the wider professional team, suitable diligence.  This will be designed to ensure operational suitability and flexibility and best practice whilst maintaining fast turnarounds and achieving value. This relates to the deals being agreed through the acquisition process and eventually to handover, post fitting out, to the operational team.

adept utilises collaborative (live and online) reporting and mapping to maintain close control and which informs and guides the wider internal business functions involved in the expansion such as finance, marketing, recruitment and operations along with the professional advisors, project managers and contractors.

adept’s service can be tailored to suit but we can advise from the initial concept including the development of “one shop” models and securing funding, through the entire acquisition and diligence process, through fitting out and hand over to operations and then onto eventual estate/asset management and exit/sale.
